PharmOut were initially engaged in 2016 to provide full site investigation and FEED study reporting for the proposed cosmetics manufacturing facility including for (2) existing building shells, as well as a proposed concept design for a large manufacturing facility in Australia. The facility required a TGA license and to this end the facility design and operation was developed to meet the current PIC/S code of GMP.

Following the failure of the previous Architect and Builder to achieve a successful outcome, PharmOut was engaged to drive a solutions-approach and completed detailed design for the facility within a compressed time frame.  To successfully deliver a rapid staged delivery of permits and construction drawings ahead of schedule, PharmOut used BIM360 to allow the interdisciplinary project team based onsite and offsite to work in parallel, while balancing the OHS requirements of the Covid-19 pandemic without loss of project continuity.
